The Origin Story

Back at my first SDR job, I wanted to see how many dials I could make in a day. To me, the only lever I could pull to book more meetings was "Make more calls."
So that's exactly what I did.
First day: 500 dials
Second day: 700 dials
Third day: 1000 dials
At first it was great. I was new so had a bunch of energy. Booked a bunch of meetings. Got kudos from my manager who could now tell everyone else to make more calls without feeling bad.
My booking rate stayed about the same - 1 meeting in every ~250 dials - so I shot up the leaderboard since I made the most calls.
But... a few weeks past and I started to get burnt out quick.
Yes you can go crazy for a few weeks or maybe even a few months but it's impossible to maintain that activity over a longer period of time.
The Realization
I used to make 500 dials to talk to 25 people.
Now all I need is 52.
ConnectRate is the tool I wish I had when I first started. We're focused on solving the two main problems that plague SDR Leaders:

Our thesis: Phone skill will soon be the only thing that matters for SDRs. Email is being automated away with AI. LinkedIn is a nice complimentary play but throttles your volume. Reps that leverage the phone consistently outperform ones that don't.
The main problem holding the channel back is that most people you call don't answer (Average 4.7% connect rate via Gong) and data providers average ~18-25% wrong number rate.
